Funktion-One Distributor Em-Tec Expands into India in Partnership with Audio & Beyond

Funktion-One, a leading UK-based loudspeaker brand, is expanding its reach in India through its Dubai-based distributor Em-Tec. Partnering with Indian AV expert Audio & Beyond, the goal is to deliver premium audio systems to India’s growing nightlife and hospitality markets. With successful installations already completed in major Indian venues like Four Seasons Mumbai and Epitome Pune, Em-Tec is now setting a firm foundation for long-term growth in the region.

This collaboration combines Em-Tec’s deep experience with Funktion-One systems and Audio & Beyond’s local technical team and market knowledge. Together, they aim to set new standards in high-end audio experiences across India’s luxury venues, offering tailor-made sound solutions backed by expert service and design leadership.

Funktion-One is pleased to announce that Em-Tec, the loudspeaker manufacturer’s exclusive distributor for the GCC, is expanding into the Indian market. Headquartered in Dubai and led by audio industry veteran Andy Williams, Em-Tec is joining forces with Audio & Beyond (an EMIL company) to deliver Funktion-One systems to one of the world’s fastest growing markets.

This expansion builds on Em-Tec’s successful project history in India, which already includes prestigious venues such as Big Bull (Hyderabad), The Nines (Mumbai), Four Seasons (Mumbai), and Epitome (Pune). The move formalises the company’s presence in the region and lays the foundation for growth, with a goal of establishing showcase Funktion-One venues across the country. Audio & Beyond is an experienced AV solutions provider with bases in Hyderabad and Delhi.

All system design, project oversight and management will be handled by Em-Tec. Audio & Beyond’s team of skilled technicians are working closely with Em-Tec to gain hands-on experience with Funktion-One systems and learn about the company’s unique audio philosophy.
